Tasker/Automagic integration via Android intents (send/receive)
It would be awesome if Memento made it possible to send and, most importantly, receive intents from other apps, such as Tasker and Automagic, with entry data so that database entries in Memento could be created automatically according to the criteria pre-set in the specific intent.
An action intent could be created and published for Memento users to incorporate into their Tasker/Automagic automation workflows/ Alternatively, an UI-based Automagic/Tasker integration could be a welcome addition.

Linked Entry Attribute Calculation Field
It would be great to have the calculation field available for attributes on linked entries.
For example, if you have ingredients as linked entries for a recipe, you could have an amount calculation attribute for each ingredient that could be calculated based on a desired yield.

(the second option can be setup in settings of refered database...)
- if you have a lots of databases which needs to export often probably you know what I mean... - for one or few databases doesn't matter...
but if you have a lots of them.., it's a bit complicated and waste of time...

Scrolling Bar Field (or you could call it a dragging bar)
Add a field with an horizontal bar with a circle that you can hold and drag It all along the bar.
I hope you're understanding what I mean...

Return choice of database and storage location to the user.
Some might not mind THEIR files being hidden but it has ruined my backup policy. Even rolling back to an older version has left thousands of image files in a hidden folder I cannot remove.
I'm aware of Google's security policy but it should be the users choice and Google say it is the apps responsibility to provide this.12 votes -

Help distinguish groups by adding an option (like the library has) to change the background color to the block where the header/title is when items are grouped.

Find and Highlight in Page
I use Momento to store quotes. Some of the quotes are lengthy.
I use the search function to find entries that have a word I am looking for. After we pull up an entry, it would be nice to have the ability to search for a word and then highlight the word on the page.

add TimeStamp function for calculations
Add TimeStamp() function for a one time grab of the current date/time, which would NOT be continually updated as the Now() function does. I am using memento as an attendance record and would like to calculate time in and time out multiple times based on a single choice list, thus creating a quick data record for an evening/class.

Allow edition for a calculated field
Yes this must be allowed for some cases where at least two fields are "co-calculated" to give a result of a third field which is itself be calculated/editable, such as for exemple : "Quantity * Price = Total"
Un this case, the user can type any two fields, and the third will be determined autmatiquely. As we can see, all these fields must be editable and calculatable.
This ils a very usable option for a Database of car fuel records.

Add a "today" or "now" button
I have a file that adds the create date when I add a record. When I update a record, I like to update the create date. That often means selecting year, month and day. Having an option to click a button to select "today" would be very nice. I imagine a similar button could be useful for a time field as well.

Link to Entry - Filtered list
When creating a link to an entry, have the possibilty to set the criterea to filter out the data of the linked table, providing a list of entries that only match the specified criterea.
eg.
table 1 - Full Name
table 2 - Names of all individualsLink to entry - Full names to Names of all individuals but only those with a name of "Peter"

Let me switch the field type on an existing database.
I created a database and erroneously set a bunch of the fields to 'multi-select' when what I really wanted was 'string select.' I've already added things to this database and now I can't change the fields to the type I want without manually re-entering everything. Please let me edit the field type if the data already in the field does not conflict with the new type. (I.e. multi-select data could go to string values or plain text, and if it's string values but all the strings currently in the database are integers, let me convert it to integers.)
