Import text through OCR camera app
Detect text through an image. Later on will be nice to have also a little "x" icon to each word so you remove unwanted words or phrases through the text you imported.

Editing field in the tableview directly
I'm using your great app to manage the carbohydrates for our child who has Diabetes type 1.
I have defined a field where I add the gramms of food. Is there a way to make this field editable in the tableview or even in the overview?
Currently workflow:
Search for the food
Open it
Adjust or enter the gramms
Click the checkmark to start the calculationIn the screenshot it is column 4 which I would like to adjust in this view.

Catalog templates: Language-specific names and descriptions
Libraries in the catalog are created by individuals in their own native language. A speaker of language X won't usually bother to download a library with a name and description in language Y.
Create a database for each contributed template where the name and description can be added in any language from the default list. So someone's russian template can get info in French, English, Japanese, etc.
This will vastly increase the audience for every template available and encourage more people to download and upload templates, and to use Memento in general.

Alphabetically sort libraries and groups
It'd be nice to be able to automatically sort libraries and groups by their names in alphabetical order.

Popolate the db trough the QR Code
I would like to popolate the db trough the read of the QR Code. Customize the fields and then by reading the QR Code take all the information in the db. Thanks!

Allow Memento sqlite database file to be saved to or loaded from Google Drive
Backup/Restore to SD card is too limited -- this is the cloud age, please allow backup/restore from Google Drive.
If the same DB is loaded on several devices, DB sharing can be done (today!). All that's needed is an easy way to get the same DB onto more than one device.

Ñ in the cloud table
In the cloud database the words isn't storage with "ñ" letter. In the app I write "españa" without problems, but in the synced table it appears as "espana"

Allow "debug mode" sync or manual sync, knowing which files are sync use a checksum to validate them before uploading in the base
If the user can open manually the files he want to have sync, or if he can see the list of files to be treated, this could be a big help to avoid picture losses as I could see recently that some users are experiencing.
Knowing if the loss come from Google sync or something in memento could help rebuild the base.
I don't know if I explain that well. It is making the sync process transparent on demand (not systematically)
May be something existing yet that allow to see the index files and lists of pictures if that is…

Add the ability to hide libraries.
When creating more complex applications some libraries are just used as lookup tables. Others is seldom a need to view these on a device but they add "clutter by being visible.

Encrypt Google Sheets data
If a library is encrypted and you link to Google Sheets, all of the data is clear text and not encrypted. This essentially makes the Protect function pointless when used with Google Sheets.

Creazione di un Viewer
Salve, la mia proposta nasce dal fatto che ho riscontrato difficolta a far conoscere le mie librerie a persone con poca conoscenza di database.
Per seplificare ciò suggerirei la creazione di un viewer. Basterebbe che Memento realizzasse un Viewer in cui chi utilizza Memento Pro lo possa dare con installate le iscrizioni alle proprie librerie. in questo modo gli utenti sono facilitati ad usare l'applicazione e i programmatori di memento possono mettere una icona per scaricare Memento Free per chi è interessato.1 vote -

how can I change the app language to english ? i am using a Japanese environment android but don't wish to change the env language, but would rather change the app language. how can i do that ?

Hello,
at first I have to say that I love this app.
History: Our daughter has Diabetes T1 since February17. As we have to calculate each meal (carbohydrates) I was looking for a simple database solution.
Memento is nearly perfect.I have one big wish but I'm not sure if it is possible.
For each meal I have to search for the right food (stored in the database) and enter then the right mass in gramm. It would be great if I can search and enter something by spech control.Do you think something like this can be developed?

send enclosures contained in several linked libraries
if I create 2 libraries and link them together (assuming the first contains text and the second contains attachments), if I need to send the first library by email, the system must also obviate the information (including attachments) .in if I have elements A and B in library 1 and are attached to attachments C and D of library 2, if I have to share reading A, emails must appear on the next day of A and C.'s attachments if I want to save ' element A as PDF (also attachment C must be saved in the same PDF)

Global Currency
Change all the currency fields to a different country currency through the
Edit Library. So people can easily make faster changes if they are in
different countries and want to create another Library with different currency

Make it possible to choose picture source for preview
If I make a note with a picture and a subscription field (which I use as handwritten notes), I have to decide which picture is shown in the preview. It would totally help me if I could choose both sources or choose for each entry individually.
