  1. Update the widget display whenever the Library records are changed, not just when a record is manually edited. When records are changed by javascript this change should be reflected in the widget that shows the records. Either make the widget update automatically, or provide a method in javascript to update widgets.

  3. When you have pages on the android client it displays the page name in full and lets you scroll the page tabs at the top (it's great) - in the iOS app though it doesn't scroll ... it squeezes all of the pages into the available screen width and truncates all the names to the point that you can't read the page titles any more and clicking on them accurately gets increasingly difficult - I'm having to make 2 libraries - 1 for each client because of this alone and all updates I do need to be made in 2…

  4. I strongly recommend adding a life-time option to the currently available Upgrade option, namely monthly or yearly revolving subscription.

I believe, this would invite more loyal customers to the app which would then attract even more customers.

Personally, I would be very willing to buy a life-time subscription while I am currently hesitant to upgrade using the revolving options.

  7. On iOS, when I start typing to add a new tag — none of my already created tags appear. It therefore is extremely difficult to keep tag consistency across records.

Love the idea of tags, just need it to autocomplete to make it practical.

  9. Dear Memento design team,

your support mail isn't reachable, so sorry for posting the whole set of ideas just here instead:

we have a few ultimately valuable tips from our perspective for Mementos visual experience that could boost its interactive intuition even one step further! Some of my friends & colleagues using/having used/I have shown Memento are standing behind this. Please just throw back the ball if anything is unclear or I should profound it with screenshots, it's all about the Android version of your amazing app:

  10. Allow manual rearranging of photos in an entry. Kinda like the 3 line grab option for fields...
And to allow editing a photo taken and/or removing background from a picture of an item.

  11. The Tree is a good edition to existing entries, especially as it allows multiple selections.

However an anomaly exists when entries are grouped by the tree, where it doesn't display the selected grouping rightly in a multiselection scenario. Example in a fictional herbal supplement shop inventory scenario:

    1. Ingredient "Thyme" is selected for function "Immune Boosting" and "Mind Calming"
    2. Ingredient Turmeric is selected as "Digestive system aid" and "Immunity system booster"
    3. The Ingredient is a text entry, and Function is a Tree entry

Sadly when Grouping is done by Function, only 2 Headers come up as opposed to 3 Headers being…

  12. The password, hyperlink and other similar vaguely specialist derivatives of the Text field are too basic for most uses. Instead, I should be able to designate a specific entry in a list or tree as a hyperlink or hidden text / password, or a custom-named type with custom handling.

One way to support custom types would be by allowing the user to combine the properties of each – if I want hidden hyperlinks in a list, allow me to set each item or the list itself to use a custom type called “Hidden hyperlinks” – name entered by the user…

  13. The current tree interface is very strange. In any decent file manager, the List field's interface would be used – it's a vertical list, allows modification of each entry easily, and allows multiple selection of them. Contrastively, the current tree interface uses a context menu to manage items which means that none of those features are available except multiple selection. Deleting items is impossible, and most importantly, after a few items have been selected, the bar provided becomes full.

It should use the vertical, intuitive layout of the list field.

  14. Trees are able to be entry names, so the ability to contain multiple sub-entries obviously doesn't prevent it.

  16. In team subscription it is important when users working in the same or shared libraries, the library stays refreshed so there are no duplicate records.
Even when the unique field is chosen the problem exists. For example when two users working in the same library the same time and there is a field "serial number" with auto-increasing number they might save records with same "serial number" .(and a popup message says that there are several enties with same name").
One solution to solve this right now is every time that they click in new entry they have to refresh first…

  17. Currently, scripts have the freedom to choose which libraries they can access. I suggest strengthening data integrity by allowing each library to decide which other libraries can access it via scripts.

  18. Single selector has to add icon and color.

Why is there no icon in all multiple selectors?

We put the icon / image to multiple selectors too!

  19. Users can see the physical names of objects such as libraries, library fields, etc. Using JavaScript in their own library, they can easily access data anonymously using the object names from the database. That's a serious problem for data integrity. How can we overcome this problem?

From my point of view, a solution to this problem is to either provide the option to hide the physical names of objects from users or to require a password defined in the queries to access the data, or both.

  20. Some list fields have the option of generating tabs for each item.

I would like to be able to select the items in a list that should be added as tabs.

For example, let's say I have a library of exercises. The Excercises can be of the type "Outdoors", "Indoors" or "Stretch". I want the Outdoors and Indoors tabs to always show in the library, but not the Stretch tab. I can achieve that in part with tree lists and filters, but that comes with it's own limitations.
