    All you need to do is include a blank entry in your list. This will give you a string of zero length.
    I always make this the first (default) entry in a single choice list.

    There is a workaround for this. Make visibility of the field in edit mode dependent on the value of a boolean, which can be set or reset as required.

    SQLite (the database engine used by Memento) provides a function called strftime() to format date and time. Perhaps it could be added to the Memento function list.

    The functionality of filtering on text fields is very limited. We should be able to filter by wildcards, or even better, by regex.
