Allow default value from another field
Now that linked fields can be used in calculations, it would be very useful to be able to use a value from a linked field as the default value for a local table field.
Along these lines, it would be very helpful to also be able to supply the contents of a local field as a default value. -Especially if the default value comes from a calculated field.

Yes..or perhaps offer a choice between supplying a CALCULATED default value OR supplying the LITERAL default value. The "literal" option would be exactly the same as the current capability; the "calculated" option would of course allow references to other fields.

Linked fields may not be present if the records are only optionally linked. In that case there is no linked field value to default to, and the default value would of course be empty.
