Keep encrypted libraries encrypted in the backup files
I would like to request that encrypted libraries remain encrypted in the backup files. Currently this is not the case. One can examine "memento.db" in the backup files with a text editor and see in clear text, fields from an encrypted library.

Add to date field the default choice of entry added. Also add the default choice of when an entry was updated.
I suggest that the default choices for a date field include the choice of the date that an entry was added or when the entry was updated. This would allow for tracking the date that an entry was first added or when it was updated (both, if two date fields are used). I've used such choices in Smart-List-To-Go database on a Palm PDA.

Add pull-down menu as alternative to screen tabs
At the screen top where a list of records appears, instead of just tabs as a selection tool, provide menu box with drop-down list.
Instead of “Show as tab”
Add new feature “Show as menu”Drop down lists are far more viable when the choice of items is larger than is practical to show as tabs across the screen.

Captions of images - JavaScript
Ability to set and get image captions for an image field in Javascript would be great.
entry().field('pictures') returns the array of file paths, but not the captions.
Reason: I currently have a Javascript Action that will add an image to the the front of the existing images in the field. I notice the captions don't move with the images.
e.g. before running the action i have image A with caption 'A', image B with caption 'B'. My script.action adds a new image C to the front.

Expanded display of the name and description of the entry
I propose to add the options "Extended display of the name of the entry" and "Extended display of the description of the entry" in the library settings. Enabling the option should change the standard display of the entry name (1 line) and description (2 lines) in the "List" and "Widget" modes to their full display of up to 10 lines.

Autocomplete via boolean
It would be very useful if the Boolean field would automatically activate only when a series of fields are complete with data
Practically:
I have a library with various fields where I have to enter data, these fields are not all completed at the same time but on different dates. So by inserting a Boolean field (yes/no) with an example title, "completed data", I would like this Boolean field to be activated automatically when all the fields are complete with their respective data. This allows me to split the library data into completed and uncompleted.

Integration for collecting information from images with CAM SCANNER
Memento Database has poor image library management. If we have to consider images as an essential part of data collection, it is essential that there is an engine that can manage them during the capture phase.
Having a scanner that can crop images, natively read textual content, have text enhancement functions, extract specific data, would greatly enhance the quality of the User Experience.
You don't need to build these functions natively. There are powerful softwares that release APIs and can integrate these calling functions into the App.
Cam Scanner currently seems to me the best performing software for this integration.

Option to hide text in card view
I like the card view with 2 columns with the text, but when I want to see a big number of items it would be nice to be able to pick 5 columns and to hide the text, to just show the images

When looking at a list of records, it would be very helpful if the Filter icon was highlighted if a filter is active.
Sometimes records are missing from the list view and it’s not obvious that a filter is active and they are omitted.

Add Search Result Entry as Autofill Autocompletion Rule Source
When Creating an Autofill by Title and Entries as Data Source, Please add Selected Search Result Entry itself as a Source of Autofill Source.
This will allow to Search, Link an Entry and also Autofill relevant Data from that entry from single Text Box.For Example, Library Order has "Customer Search" as Text Field and "Customer" as Link to Entry" and also has Fields like "Address" to Autofill.
We setup autofill from Library Customer and "Customer Search" is Input Field to search.

Update the widget display whenever the Library records are changed, not just when a record is manually edited. When records are changed by javascript this change should be reflected in the widget that shows the records. Either make the widget update automatically, or provide a method in javascript to update widgets.

Sync Google multiple devices and multiple libraries
I have memento on two phones and 1 laptop. All devices have the same memento account. Each phone sync's to a different Google sheet with the same name. Would be nice if we could tell memento which existing sheet to sync with....
Also being able to sync multiple memento libraries to the same Google Sheet and using separate sheets within that Sheet to accomplish that.

Canban View in desktop version
I use memento phone version as well as computer version. The phone version has a kanban view. There is no such thing as a computer version. Can you add such a function (kanban view) to the computer version? Thank you in advance for your response.

Forum should protect our email addresses from spammers.

If groups.google.com cannot hide users email addresses in the emails it sends, Memento should use a different forum provider.

Life-Time License
I strongly recommend adding a life-time option to the currently available Upgrade option, namely monthly or yearly revolving subscription.
I believe, this would invite more loyal customers to the app which would then attract even more customers.
Personally, I would be very willing to buy a life-time subscription while I am currently hesitant to upgrade using the revolving options.
