App crashes when switching between apps
When entering data into a record on an iPad, jumping back to Safari to copy field data, the open Memento record often crashes, losing data already entered.
This is especially common when using split screen mode.
It frequently occurs if you leave the open record to visit Safari then return.

Add "search widget" on new dashboard features
Add "search widget" that only search entries that in library on current dashboard. Or maybe add something that can act like that.

Widget
I am using chart widgets on my dashboards. The chart displays values for each point which ok unless you are looking at many data points, meaning you can't see the lines on the graph for the value data.

Sort related libraries records in portals
Allow portal records showing on a parent library view to be sorted newest first, rather than just an unchangeable default of oldest first.

Add option to use front camera to scan barcodes in iOS app
Using a Square iPad Stand terminal for retail, the rear camera is inaccessible. The iOS app for Memento Database only uses the rear camera for scanning barcodes, rendering this feature inaccessible since hardware barcode scanners do not work on iOS for this feature.
If there was either a setting or a toggle on the view fir switching to the front camera so barcodes could be scanned in this situation, this feature would become accessible again.

Add pull-down menu as alternative to screen tabs
At the screen top where a list of records appears, instead of just tabs as a selection tool, provide menu box with drop-down list.
Instead of “Show as tab”
Add new feature “Show as menu”Drop down lists are far more viable when the choice of items is larger than is practical to show as tabs across the screen.

AI field (GPT_ API?) that generates an output based on a internal prompt and specified fields
I would like to suggest the addition of a new AI field to Memento Database. With the increasing demand for AI technologies, I believe this would be a valuable feature for users looking to manage and analyze their data more efficiently or who want to generate a output based on a certain field. This could be a Ai field programmed with a prompt when the field is set up in the library that creates a response based on the content of specified fields

Desktop Edition with no sign in
Allow use of desktop edition without sign in, allowing those who don't want the cloud service to manage their own data, but still use the software on multiple devices or maybe a preferred desktop UI.

Allow manual rearranging of photos.
Allow manual rearranging of photos in an entry. Kinda like the 3 line grab option for fields...

Add data types.
The password, hyperlink and other similar vaguely specialist derivatives of the Text field are too basic for most uses. Instead, I should be able to designate a specific entry in a list or tree as a hyperlink or hidden text / password, or a custom-named type with custom handling.
One way to support custom types would be by allowing the user to combine the properties of each – if I want hidden hyperlinks in a list, allow me to set each item or the list itself to use a custom type called “Hidden hyperlinks” – name entered by the user…

Use the list interface for trees.
The current tree interface is very strange. In any decent file manager, the List field's interface would be used – it's a vertical list, allows modification of each entry easily, and allows multiple selection of them. Contrastively, the current tree interface uses a context menu to manage items which means that none of those features are available except multiple selection. Deleting items is impossible, and most importantly, after a few items have been selected, the bar provided becomes full.
It should use the vertical, intuitive layout of the list field.

Allow lists to be entry names.
Trees are able to be entry names, so the ability to contain multiple sub-entries obviously doesn't prevent it.

Allow deleting entries in trees from the form editor.
Although entries are able to be added, they are unable to be removed.

Library refresh (team users)
In team subscription it is important when users working in the same or shared libraries, the library stays refreshed so there are no duplicate records.
Even when the unique field is chosen the problem exists. For example when two users working in the same library the same time and there is a field "serial number" with auto-increasing number they might save records with same "serial number" .(and a popup message says that there are several enties with same name").
One solution to solve this right now is every time that they click in new entry they have to refresh first…0 votes
